Like many people, I love traveling. But I prefer to travel alone with my best friend rather than traveling with a tour group. Fortunately, my dream came true in 2018. In the summer of that year, my best friend and I made our first trip in life without a parent. We went to the country we longed for——Korea.
I still remember how happy we were at the time when we planned to go to South Korea. Every day we hung out together to the cafe to check information and write a travel itinerary. Imagined that we were going to many, many places, eating many, many local snacks. What we looked forward to the most was the variety of foods on Myeongdong pedestrian street .
It was already night when we arrived in Seoul. Sure enough, as long as we got off the plane, we came to Myeongdong as we planned. It was said that Myeongdong Walking Street was the most lively street in Seoul. As expected, there were all kinds of people in this whole street. The roadside was full of food stalls, some people were buying snacks, some people passed by in a hurry, some people talked and laughed and drank happily. That night, when we were back to the hotel, we also ordered a takeaway fried chicken.This is our first time to taste authentic Korean fried chicken.
In the next four days, we went to many places in Seoul, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Dongdaemun, etc. One of my most impressive spots is N Seoul tower. It was said that N Seoul Tower was built in 1975, it is the famous tourist spot where the best attractions to enjoy the night view of Seoul and is also a symbol of Seoul. There, we locked our friendship with the lock which was written our names.I still remember the sight of Seoul from the tower.
Although my friends and I quarreled along the way because of different opinions, we were reconciled as before, which was a small episode in this trip. But as friends, who never quarreled with friends!This trip has given us many precious memories and also taught us how to deal with many unexpected problems during the trip.
